Today was a really, really long day. After I got the girls off to school Jack and I went and go an oil change. Jack did pretty good, but waiting anywhere for an hour is hard for a 1 year old. He enjoyed climbing all over the little table they had set up and eating the crayons. It was a little rainy this morning and my windshield wipers were really bad. I decided just to have them change them, even though they charge way too much! They rotated my tires which I guess really needed done, and told me my battery was pretty much dead. Awesome. They quoted me $150 for a new one. I remember paying like $60 the last time we got one for the Lancer, so I didn't have them do that! By the time we finished there I had a really bad headache. Came home and put Jack down for a nap and worked on some stuff for our Enrichment meeting this week (we are having a fashion show!) and skyped with Joe. He told me to take the car to O'reillys and have them check the battery too. So after I picked up Lily we went. They said the battery was dead too. It was like $40 cheaper there since they dont charge for labor. The little old man that did it really didn't seem like he knew what he was doing though! I figured it would take 20-30 min to go buy the battery and get home in time to get Ella. We were there for over an hour and barely made it home to get her. And Lily peed her pants in the trunk..Its funny (but not really) how many things have gone wrong the past month. Like they couldn't have just waited a few more weeks?! LOL I kept trying to look at the positive, at least I had the money to pay for it. But then I was still thinking, yeah but thats all my fun money! haha..anyway...
I got these chairs at goodwill for a couple bucks each. I wanted to get cushions but they are stinkin expensive! I covered them with canvas shower curtains..they aren't really what I wanted, but they work :)
Someone is sleeeeepy! He went to bed at 6:30!
watchin a movie in the car before school

Look how dark it is in the car on their way to school! Early risers :) I am so happy that Joe will be back to take care of car stuff!!! I am totally lost when it comes to that. I had my next door neighbor give me a jump the other day, luckily he knew everything about it, because I don't have the equipment or know how to. Turned out our battery was dead too. We got a new one for about $100.
What a stressful week!! At least Joe comes home soon and that will help make your life that much easier and happier. Keep going Maddie! You seem like a fantastic Mom :)
