We ordered Ella new glasses today. The frames are similar to her sunglasses, but they are bright pink, Hello Kitty. She is pretty excited for them to be done :)

One of those days
Joe has been gone for just over 6 months. I think its gone by pretty quickly, but everyday there is some little thing that happens that I think, man I wish Joe was here! The past two days i've found myself thinking that a lot! Yesterday I realized I had 3 days to get my car inspected before my state inspection sticker ran out. And I had a burnt out blinker. Fun for me! So I went to O'reilly's and told them my car and all that and he gave me the bulb. When we came home I googled how to change it. After about 30 min or so I finally got it taken apart (finding the right tool took the longest, I finally just used pliers!) and I find out that he gave me the wrong bulb! I really didn't want to put it all back together just to run to the store. I decided to try and fit all the kids in the lancer. It was tight, but they fit! As we were getting on the main road, the door open light came on the dash. Lily had opened her door! By some miracle she didn't fall out, it was really crowded back there! Anyway we got to Kmart and I found the right bulb (the last one!) and we drove home. I got it all fixed and that was that, Yay! I now know how to change a tail light :) Then today I went to get the inspection done. I got there at about 11:45, figuring that was plenty of time before I had to pick up Lily at 2. Jack is such a happy friendly baby, everyone loved him! But he started getting fussy and I realized it was almost 1:30 and my car was still in the parking lot..hmmm. So I walked over to the front desk and asked about how much longer it was going to be because I needed to leave (when I first got there he said it would be 10min before the inspection dude was back and then the inspection lasted for about 30 min) He tells me, Oh i'm sorry. Your ticket was over looked. It will be another 40-45 min. GREAT! So after all that waiting I had to just leave. It was really pretty funny, all the people I was waiting with were more upset then I was about my car and me having to wait there so long for nothing. So it looks like we have another fun day waiting for us tomorrow..which stinks cuz I had plans! I guess I still have one day left after tomorrow..maybe i'll just go on Friday. When Joe comes home i'll be so happy to never have to do this car junk again! Anyway....
I put Jack to work this morning
Tough like Daddy..with his man purse! LOL
Such a happy little dude!
Jack really liked one of the soldiers that was waiting for his car today when we went for the inspection. He's not around guys very much, hopefully he warms up to his Daddy fast :)
Just a few more months!
Waffles..YUM!
All ready for day 3 of school!
Learning to run away from his sisters!
I don't know if I posted pictures when I first planted, but my plants have gotten huge! I think this is the first time i've actually kept plants alive!

Last week of summer!
Wednesday we went on post to get gas and decided to go into the PX. We don't usually shop there, but they were having an awesome toy sale! The girls have been wanting a game tablet since they played with their friends leappad. We found these fisher price ones clearanced to $20! They have been playing with them non stop since :)
Jack is getting 4 molars and has been cranky and sleeping ...a lot!
Last night he slept from 7 till 9:30 this morning!
New school dresses
We had a few days of colder weather..and by colder I mean only 80
Our neighborhood had an icecream social at dinner time, so the girls ate icecream for dinner and then we walked to the park to let them burn off all that sugar before bed!
My friend Cassie came to visit for a few days. Her brother Richard lived in Texas this summer installing alarm systems. She came to drive home with him and visit me and some family in El Paso.
-My friend Vanessa and I drove to Austin to pick up Cassie. I was super nervous to drive that far, so I was so happy that she said she would ride with me. We took the toll road, which was SO nice. I think the speed limit was 80, i'm not sure, we drove 90 and got there super fast! Coming out of Austin was not so fun! But once we were on the freeway it wasn't too bad..but Austin traffic is AWFUL! We stopped in Round Rock and ate at Chuys. Its this fun mexican restaurant, with really, really good food. I want to go again with Joe when he comes home. We had to hurry home since we both left our older kids with sitters and had meet the teacher night at 4, so we didn't hit up round rock donut. But we did stop at Vanessas house and take a quick tour. Her house just got finished. Its pretty amazing how fast they can build a house! Anyway, after Cassie and I dropped her off we got my girls and headed to meet the teacher. It was super busy and I was tired. Her teacher didn't seem that friendly, but looking back on it now, I was probably the one that wasn't very friendly, lol.

People are always saying Jack looks just like Joe..I think he looks a bit like him, but in this picture he is definitely a mini Joe!
My girls had so much fun with "Aunt Cassie". They loved getting all that attention!
One last day of swimming before school starts! A friend in the ward has a pool in their backyard. We LOVE their pool, I think we need one when we get a house
awful picture of me, but sadly the only one I took of us
Jack doesn't really like the water, he's happy to try and get into all the pool cleaning chemicals!
The girls are so brave! I dont think I would jump off the diving board ;)
Zander mid jump
Little fish Lily!
Vanessa and Parker..he LOVES the water!
