 Upgraded my coupon holder to a bigger one!

 On the show extreme couponing they always show the persons HUGE stock pile..well i'm not that extreme, lol! Here is some of our mini stockpile. And I took this picture awhile ago so it doesn't include one of my best coupon deals! I got 12 bags of trail mix that they paid me a penny each to take! (the boxes on the right are MREs, good food storage) I was laughing with Joe that to most people this is just what their pantry looks like all the time, but in the past we never had more then just what we needed at the time :)

 The girls had a friend over yesterday and I guess things got a little crazy! (I was outside spray paining, lol!) the door got slammed open and now there is a hole the shape of the door knob, nice

 I got a call from my friend this morning saying her husband was helping a soldier clear out their house. She had a lot of stuff she didn't want and they were just going to take it to goodwill so he asked if we wanted some of the kid furniture. He had a truck load when he came and the kid stuff was at the bottom so I told him he could just leave what he was taking to goodwill and I would give it away. It had this awesome Ikea toy storage unit. Jacks toy storage was about to collapse so this was perfect! Eventually we will replace the one pink bin :)

 There were also 3 kitchen chairs, which is awesome since we were down to 4! There was a table too, but mine is bigger. I am pretty excited to sand it down and use it for a test table to stain. I've been wanting to stain my ugly table and chairs but we've never done it before, so now we will be able to try it out first.

 The kids were happy with some new movies! And a ton of craft supplies. It kept the kids busy all morning so I was able to rearrange and clean jacks room

 I want to get diamond plate or something that looks like it for the white/checkered section of jacks dresser but I haven't gotten that far yet. We are going to hang the checkered flags on his wall, I just put them in to see how they look

Dresser redo, 5k, couponing, and other day to day stuff

 Shopping at target makes everyone tired! Pretty sure Lily was faking

 I love/hate coupons. I really like getting a good deal, but I hate the hassle of coupons. At the commissary some of the checkers look at EVERY coupon before they start checking out your items..anyway Ella and I made a quick trip to the commissary. Its always fun to see the total and then the total after all coupons. This was just over $112, yikes! food is spendy!! After coupons it came out to just under $50, I was pretty excited! Its hard to see everything but there are 12 boxes of gogurts, 2 boxes glad baggies, 2 boxes hefty slider bags, 3 filtered britta bottles, 3 boxes of tissues, 6 boxes of applesauce, 4 packs of cheese, 4 boxes of fried rice, 2 bags of trail mix, bag of donuts, two candy bars, loreal advanced shampoo and conditioner, and there were 2 boxes of snickers ice cream bars I already put away.

Yes its weird I take a picture, but there is a group on facebook ( look up savealotmom ) that you post your deals to so everyone can go get the same good deal you got :)  And for every picture you post, you are entered into a drawing to win a prize.

 Back to school bingo put on by the USO! She got a backpack with a few things in it for school

 We got a coupon code for a $10 gift card to Dicks (one per phone) so the girls got a new fishing pole for $2each!

 We stopped at the mall on the way to Dicks to get our free lotion :)

 Every project I have started lately has turned out to be WAY more work then it should have been :(  I thought this dresser would sand down quick and easy so I could start painting..nope, I had to chip off all the paint! And then parts wouldn't chip off or sand off, so I ended up having to paint over it anyway! And both times I have started a painting project this month it has started to rain!

 Hood Hotter than Hades 5k this morning!

I got one of my worst times ever. I told Joe I think army 5ks must be longer than regular ones..he said I probably just ran slow! haha he's probably right :) It was my first time running outside since I ran the last army 5k at 11 weeks pregnant with Jack! I'm pretty sure I prefer running on the treadmill, much easier to keep a nice pace

 Ella and Lily did awesome! Ella ran/walked the whole way! Lily took a ride in the stroller with Jack but ran/walked a bunch too. After I finished running I walked back and ran to the finish with my friend, Dana. And then we both walked back and I ran the finish with the kids and Joe. I was running with Ella and when everyone was cheering for her, she took off and ran super fast to the end!

I think it turned out super cool! I have some fun plans for his other dresser too

 5ks and dresser redos are very tiring ;)
