Killeen Fest 2011

I may come back and write more about this later, but might not.... so in a nut shell : bounce houses, a petting zoo, lots of crafts, facepainting, balloon animals and a free tshirt big enough to fit us all in...all kinds of fun :)

Fun but loooong day

We left the house this morning around 9:30 and didn't get home until 8:00! I think the girls will sleep good tonight! Maybe i'll be lucky and they will let me sleep in!

I put their hair in pigtails today because we went to wazoos (indoor bounce houses) and they get really sweaty there...Ella was so funny, she said to me, Mom, what if Zander doesn't know who I am!? hehe

After 5 hours of Wazoos..yes we get our money worth!!...we headed over to the on post month of the military child celebration thing

They were pretty funny to watch at the golf thing...they had no idea what they were doing!

Listening to a story...er checking out Ellas shoe?...they listened to a short story, did a craft, got some snacks and a nice book

I asked if they wanted to ride together, they both said yes..as the ride was ending, ella decided she really would have rather had her own turn, hence the snotty face (if you can even see it! ha)

There were also lots of bounce houses there, I didn't take any pictures though..you've seen one bounce house..you've seen em all! hehe..and you can't see the kids inside anyway :)

Oh my..

I was checking weather.com tonight to see if we were still under tornado watch, and we aren't just fire watch..but I clicked on something and it brought me to this image of all the recent tornados...I live in the city underlined by yellow, Waco is the city where the tornado pictures start and that is 1 hour away..yikes!

I really wanted them to have matching dresses, but I never got around to shopping for them. I found these yesterday at Goodwills half off sale, can't beat $2 Easter dresses!

We took the girls to the mall to have their picture taken with the Easter bunny, we've gone every year since Ella was born :) We got a really good picture, i'll have to scan it sometime..both girls were actually smilling! Lily was super excited to see the bunny, but Ella started crying! Daddy gave Ella a pretty easter egg to hold and she forgot about the scary bunny :)

There was an easter egg hunt just down the street from the mall so we hurried over to it. Joe just dropped the girls and I off and went to look for parking. It was seriously crazy! But the girls had fun and each got a bunch of eggs so I guess it was good!

Today I took pictures for a friend at a pond on the college campus. Joe and the girls came along to feed the ducks. Here are a few he snapped and then a few I took of him and the girls. The girls and I spent most of the day at the splash park so they look a little crazy :)

We were suppose to do a 5k this morning, but when we didn't wake up until after it had already started, I was kind of glad we weren't going!! Its not as much fun to do a 5k when you already know you are going to get an awful time ;) We decided to take the girls to an Easter Egg hunt on post this morning. Ella did awesome. Lily wasn't sure what was going on :) Lily only got one egg, but Ella is such a nice big sister she gave her 5 of her eggs. Family shot...we actually got everyone in!

There were lots of bouncy houses, crafts and pictures with the Easter bunny but we had to hurry to get to a birthday party. The girls coloring at the party

Blue Bonnets

Today my friend and I took our kids to take pictures in a blue bonnet field. You could definately tell that a lot of people had taken their pictures there already! Lots of squished flowers!
