When I first picked up Ella from the bus she she told me her head was bouncy.(headache) I could tell she didn't feel good too :(  Poor Ella. As we were walking home she said a boy had a gun on the bus. At first I thought maybe they had said something to the kids about the shooting today, not sure why they would though. But anyway I asked her some more about it, and she said, no she saw a boy with a gun on the bus and told her teacher. She said there was a note in her agenda.

 

The note said there was an incident on the bus and Ella was the only one who reported it to a teacher. And how proud she was of Ella for telling someone. We asked her what it looked like and she said black and orange so Joe figured it was a toy gun but it freaked me out after todays shooting. Any shooting is awful to hear about, but reading about all the little kids and teachers is so sad to me. Its so sad that we have to be afraid to send our kids to school! Ellas school has pretty good security. They have soldiers in the class rooms a lot to help out and you can't get into the school before going into the office area. But its still a little scary...I'm glad we had a fun party to go to tonight to get my mind off of it. We let the kids stay up extra late tonight and had a fun family night together.
