Lily was really excited when I picked her up from school today. She said she was learning about fairy tales and that she made up some of her own.

 Jack and I spent the morning cleaning. It had been awhile since I vacuumed and mopped the girls room(it had been awhile since I could see the floor, LOL)  The girls have a tv in their room that can only watch vhs movies (somehow its connected to the vhs player in my room) anyway I put on Aladdin for Jack while I cleaned. He mostly enjoyed turning the tv off and on.

We cleaned the rest of the floors since we had the stuff out already.

 Then we sat on the couch for awhile (I read Beautiful Creatures book 2, I dont remember the name and Jack watched Cars) until I got a text to go hang out with Vanessa for a little while. So we got dressed and went and had a diet coke. When we came home Jack napped and I read some more.

This is not that great but they like it okay.

 Joe is suppose to get promoted to Sgt on friday and I have to pin him so I went and got something new to wear. I got this sequin shirt and teal sweater (it kind of looks green here). I justified buying the sweater because it's one of the colors of my brother in laws wedding so i'll be able to wear it for that..unless I find something I like better before then ;)

 Joe has been working late every night. He is in WLC, some training you have to have to be Sgt. Anyway he works really late so I took the kids and we went to Chickfila kid night with some friends. Anything to make the day go faster!

Jack watching Thomas after church today. I'm glad he's found something other then Cars, Cars 2, or Maters tall tales that he will sit and watch, even if it is Thomas the train

  Jack and I go to the on post library every friday for a storytime. Jack is kind of too little for most of the crafts, so I usually just bring them home for the girls. And they love them! This week they made sticker books and they had lots of stickers for the kids to use, and then they got to take home a stencil. The girls spent at least an hour after school working on their books. Joe has been getting off right around bed time so its super nice to have things to keep the kids busy :)

 Lily stayed home "sick" on Thursday. It was kind of rainy out(so I couldn't drive the back way to Lilys school cutting threw a dirt road) and I didn't want to drive her to school(I got a flat tire on Friday from driving her to school. A lot of people had reported getting flat tires in that neighborhood and the people at discount tire said they had about 10 people a day with screws in their tires) ..so she got to stay home.  She really wasn't sick, and I was tired of being home so we met up with some friends for lunch. Since Lily started school she hasn't got to spend much time with her friends so it was a lot of fun for her

couponing deals and other stuff from our week

 When Joe was deployed I watched this show called Extreme couponing. I thought it would be SO cool to be able to do that. Sadly here in TX there are not very many grocery stores to choose from, and the ones we do have, have pretty strict couponing rules :( but I started following this coupon blog and i've gotten a few good deals!

 Here was another good deal. It was a really good deal because the checker gave me 1/2 off the more expensive toy instead of the least expensive toy. (They were buy one get one half off, plus I had a coupon for both, and another coupon for $5 fisher price toys) They retail at over $60 and I paid $10.80 for both

 Joe had to work on Valentines day, but got Friday off so we spent the day together shopping and stopped for lunch at subway and they had my favorite cookies, yum!

 Some of Ellas school work. I started taking pictures of some of her work before I throw it out. She brings home a stack each week so its much easier to store it on my computer then all over the house!

 If you buy expensive fingernail polish, this was a good deal.(I normally buy the cheap $1 stuff..) They were on sale for $5 at walgreens so with coupon they were $2 each, plus you earned $1 in reward dollars. So really they were $1 each. The girls were pretty excited for 4 new glitter colors!

 Lilys school called last min saying school was canceled Wed, so I took the kids to the library valentine party. We also went to the ward playgroup party. It was a LONG day...i'm really glad Lily gets to go to school half day normally, but it was nice for her to get to see some of her friends :)
