Another LONG day today! We started early this morning. Jack and I were out the door by 9:30 to get started on running errands. I needed to get a bday present for Brooklyn. I went to Kohls since they were having a toy sale and I had an extra 15% off coupon. And I always like to look at their sale jewelry. I'm pretty sure they super mark up their toys, just to always have them on sale. They were way expensive.

We headed next door to some office store. I needed to try to make a color copy onto a transparancy so we went in there. The lady tried for like 15 min and couldn't figure it out. I finally just said i'll go somewhere else since I had a lot to do and I was tired of waiting. So we drove pretty much right next door to another office store and that lady had it done super fast. Its the same place I made the black and white copy the other day. I should have just driven there to start off with!

Then it was off to Ross for another return. I found Brooklyn some barbie bath toy there. It worked out so that my return was the same as the gift so that was nice :) 

Next we went to target. I needed to price out some ribbon and goo gone. They didn't have christmas ribbon out yet, and I couldn't find the goo gone.

I wanted to go to goodwill but I only had $3 cash (they only take cash) and I didn't feel like buying anything to get cash back. I texted Vanessa to see if she wanted to meet up at Panda Express but she had just gotten home and lives pretty far out of town :(  So Jack and I just headed home. I did stop at Popeyes for their Thursday special. YUM I haven't eaten there in so long.

Jack was super tired since he missed his morning nap. He kind of just played in his bed though until about 15 min before it was time to get Lily.

Brooklyns party was tonight. Its hard having a baby at bday parties when you just want to sit and talk with your friends, Jack just wanted to run around! It was at Wazoos. A big room full of inflatable bounce houses. So I just took my phone and sat in the little play area for babies and played on the internet. It was still a nice break. One friend came in a chatted for awhile, she has a little girl that is probably 2ish. The girls always have so much fun there! We stayed until bedtime :)

 The Christmas soaps are way ugly..but oh well. When you only give someone 2 days to have them done and priced out, thats what you get..ugly soap. I am going to try and find different ribbon. I think maybe just curling ribbon in red and green

Woah i'm tired! I've been trying to be better about journaling (not that most day to day stuff is super important..but its fun to read back on later) but today is going to be a short version...

 

Parker turned 1 today! Thats Vanessas little boy. She asked if I would come take pictures for her. It was a lot of fun. When Joe gets home we are going to take our family pictures in her yard too

 

That took most of the day. After I picked up Lily we headed back to the PX and I checked all the sale jewelry that I liked to see if it was on sale just not marked down. LOL. I got three more necklaces that were under $5. We had an enrichment meeting on modesty and fashion. And since then i've been trying to wear a nicer shirt then just a tshirt everyday. Today I wore my "goal shirt" I bought it a few months after I had Jack (1.50 thrift store find) It was SO tight I couldnt even button it. I was so happy to be able to wear it today!

 

 Is it weird that I really want my family picture taken in front of this old tractor? haha

I used to be able to wear wedge heel shoes with no problem. I must be getting old because my poor feet are killing me!

 

Today was another good day, LOVE those! I went to library this morning with Vanessa. I haven't been since this summer. Jack did okay, but he's still too little for it. We left about half way through to run some errands, then had plans to meet back up for lunch.

 

I found a different way to do the soaps for enrichment. You print what you want on it, on transparancy paper. So Jack and I went to Office depot. They only charge .50 for that. I dont really like the way it looks. I think I will try it with some color and see how that works out. Hopefully better.

 

 Anyway after that we went to walmart to return some shirts so I could have some spending money.  I got the soaps that I needed to make my super saturday samples and a banana for Jack, then went to Chick fil a to meet Vanessa. Jack loved running around the playland after we ate. He is a crazy boy!

 

I still needed a bday gift for Brooklyns birthday on Thursday so I went to the PX. They had some good deals on toys last time I went..not this time! I found a cute necklace that I really wanted. I dont usually spend $10 on necklaces, but I really liked it! I also needed a sports shirt for Ella. We are SO not big on sports at our house. I found her this cute shirt with glitter cheerleader pom poms that says go fight win or something like that. I almost didn't get it, $7 for a shirt is a little much for me! haha. So when I got to the check out and my total was only $12, I was so excited! My necklace rang up for $4!  Sweet!  I love it when that happens! 

 

There was a pink firetruck in front of the store. Jack liked looking at it and I was trying to get a picture of him but he wouldn't stand still. Some guy said he would take our picture for me. And then he said to take it with the guy in the pink outfit..ok..haha. It was a breast cancer thing. They were also selling tshirts.

 

After that I had to hurry and get Lily. Thankfully its really close or I would have been late. We just hung out around the house the rest of the night. I should have been on facebook, then I would have seen free kids meals at Chick-fil-a if you are wearing a costume! Instead we had some nasty whole wheat pasta (gag) I made my kids eat it though. They are so good  :) I didn't even eat it, haha. We played outside and ate candy bars while I talked to my Mom on the phone. It was even a little breezy out! Its suppose to cool down this weekend and i'm ready for it!  Tomorrow i'm going out to Vanessas to help her take some bday pictures of Parker. I think i'll take a few of Jack too. The rest of this week is crazy busy. I hope next week is a little slower!

Today was a really good day! Yay, I knew one was coming soon! LOL  I cleaned all day yesterday so my house was even clean too :)  I didn't really have any plans for today. I wanted to go to the commissary and px to pick up soda and a birthday present. I was talking with a friend on gmail and we decided to go check out Texas Thrift. Its a newer thrift store in town. I remembered hearing that on Mondays one color tag is marked to .99  We had SO much fun. Crazy how much you can laugh in a thrift store. haha, we found some awesome clothes :)  I think we were there for almost 3 hours and we each only bought a few things. We stayed so long, I didn't have time to go to the other stores before I had to pick up Lily.  Oh well there is always tomorrow.

 

Oh yeah, the whole reason for going to the thrift store was to find things for Ella for her Red Ribbon week at school. There are two days where she has nothing to wear.  Wear your favorite team shirt day(we aren't big into sports), and camo day.  I found a cowboys jersey, it was still $5! She might just skip that day. I didn't find any cute camo for her either.

 

After we got home from picking up Lily I checked all the messages on my phone (I hate forgetting it at home!) I had a message from a girl on the enrichment committee saying I needed to have 3-4 crafts FINISHED for fantastic friday(instead of super saturday) by thursday! Oh boy..I dont even have any ideas...and I really don't want to go spend any money. I think i'm going to try this canvas project I saw on pinterest. You print your picture on tissue paper and then somehow apply that right onto the canvas. It looked pretty neat. I also put together this map thing i've seen on pinterest. I had to tear apart one of joes projects to use the frame. Hopefully he forgets about it :)

 This is what I came up with for camo day. I really hate camo. Its ugly. So I just added a little ruffle and some hearts to a jean skirt. very loosely so I can rip it off when we are done :)  I think i'll try and find an old shirt to sew a camo heart on too.
