Lily trying on some of her new school clothes. Lily hates jeans. I remember hating jeans as a kid too.. Lily is built a lot like me :) anyway, I was really happy to find her some plus jeans that fit her perfectly!

She was really excited to find these shoes today! They are sketchers bella ballerina shoes that have a spinner on the bottom. We saw them at the px awhile ago, but they were way too expensive just for fun. We got them for $3 so if they aren't allowed at school, its not a big deal :)

I don't usually take pictures of all the scary things we see here in Killeen but.....
Today was pet day at the harker heights library. The girls love animals so we went even though it was way over 100degrees today. I think with the heat index it was like 110. But we went early so it was just starting to get really hot as we left. The kids all had a great time!
Joe has been working all day (leaves before the kids get up, gets home after they go to bed). He got to come home one night so we had a game night after Jack went to bed.
Jack saw this shirt at walmart from across the store. He started yelling kachow! over and over. They only had it in sz 5 so he now has a lightning mcqueen dress ;)
We got a free couch on craigslist. I kind of hate it, but I think the darker color will show less kid yuck. The craigslist add said it was practically new, but had lots of dog hair on it. They were not kidding. I vacuumed that sucker for a good hour and steam cleaned it at least 3 times and dumped a box of baking soda on it overnight. It looks and smells brand new now :) But i'm still not sure I like it...
We got the brown couch free on craigslist awhile ago too
This is the couch we are replacing. I like the way it looks a lot better, but I am so tired of steam cleaning it every other week!
