Today was crazy. Pretty much everyday is pure craziness around here! We would have been able to sleep in a little today, but Ella was up at normal time crying about her throat. Poor girl, I know how bad it hurts! I gave her some tylenol and she laid back down. I was just happy it was already almost 6:30 and not the middle of the night! So we got up and ready, took Lily to school and then I decided it was time to try and get gas..dun dun dun! Its pretty funny, I know the car will start, I just have to sit there and look stupid for a few min, and I HATE knowing that everyone is looking at me! LOL anyway we got gas and left really fast after I finally got my car to start :) We went home and i'm not really sure what we did, but we took too long and we didnt leave the house until 30 min before the appointment..not a good idea when you are suppose to be their 15 min early and its on post (where everyone else in town is trying to be right at that same time) We got there about 10 min late because one whole lane was shut down! Wish I would have known that, we would have gone a different way..I always feel bad when we are not on time! One of the nurses seemed a little grumpy that we were late, they never seem to mind making you wait forever though :) I told her about the construction and she seemed ok after that..So it turns out Ella has strep too. They gave her a shot though, no fair! I have to take 4 pills a day on an empty stomach. I'm not sure there are 4 times in a day that I HAVE an empty stomach, lol. Today I only got 2 in we were SO busy. We were at the dr from 9:30-11:30 and I was hungry! Ella never gets to go to lunch anymore since she is in school so I took her to get a happy meal on the way home. With more traffic on the way home, plus lunch hour at McD's we didnt get home until 12:30. We had to leave at 12:45 to get Lily from her school. She was sleeping SO hard when we went to get her that she stood up and then fell right over! It was pretty funny, luckily she didnt get hurt though! She smashed her finger in the backdoor last week (I think) and her teacher was worried it was getting pretty bad and said I should take her to the Dr. (really, I should just learn to do what I want and not listen to other people! LOL) I had been keeping it really clean, and then there were the 2 days I was really sick and out of it that I didnt do anything to her finger so it had gotten kind of red and swollen from not being cleaned. I cleaned it last night again (soaking in epson salt and rubbing on antibiotic cream) So anyway I made her an appointment to get it checked out. It was with the same Dr Ella had this morning. We had to sit in a LONG line of traffic to get back on post since now all the people were coming back from lunch. I was ok with that though since we were a bit early this time. I left time for traffic and road work! We got there about 10 min before we needed to go in and I didnt want to wait inside with Jack any longer then we had to, so we sat in the car and watched some barbie movie. Of course when it was time to go in I couldnt find my military id. I know I had it because I just used it to get on post! After 5 min searching I finally found that. We hurried inside and weren't late! The doctor pretty much told me I was doing everything I could for her and keeping it clean was good. Her nail is going to fall off, but I knew that. She said that the puss and drainage was good (gag) She also said it probably wasn't broken, but that there isn't much she could do even if it was. She said, at least it doesnt look crooked, lol. I think it if was broken, Lily would be complaining a little more.

At least I really liked her. We've lived here 2 years and this is the first one we've seen that I like!

Ellas turn, she is smiling, she only cried with they swabbed her throat. And I don't blame her, I almost did too :) Whats really bad is they had to do TWO throat swabs on her! Poor Ella
