Jack is a week old today! We've had a super busy first week. I hope next week is a little slower!! I got out of the hospital Tuesday afternoon, and had activity days Wednesday night. I wasn't planning on going, but felt good enough so I went. Good thing too because the other lady I do it with (who was suppose to be in charge) didn't come until it was almost over! I didn't have anything planned, so we played a game to learn the girls names until she showed up. I think the girls had fun, although they were super bummed because no one brought treats :)
Thursday we had a wic appointment to get Jack put on, Joe made the appointment for 9am! Ugh..way too early! haha, Jack also had a Dr. appointment at 12 on post so after wic we went to playland and let Lily run around until it was time for the dr. We also went to the commissary after the dr to get some things for the baby shower I was helping throw on Saturday.
Friday was my day to get everything done for the shower, but Ella had early release and we didn't make it out of the house before it was almost time to get her! So we waited until she got home and then ran errands with all three kids! First was the mall, I just went to the store I needed to go to and left Joe with all the kids to walk around..hehe The girls did great so on the way out we stopped in the food court and had fries and frostys...Mmmm! Next was the dollar tree for some things for the next activity days and a few things for the shower..then Walmart for more shower stuff and a gift for a birthday party that was later that night. We barely got done all of the shopping before it was time to be at the party. So we went home, wrapped the gift and headed to the party! There were two other things going on that night we had planned to do also (USO's movie on the lawn, and octoberfest), but the girls picked the birthday party :)
Saturday was the baby shower, it was a lot of fun chatting with friends and eating banana splits. I think Vanessa got everything she needed so now her little boy can come :)
Today, Sunday, I really thought about staying home and sleeping all day! hehe, Ella had the scripture for primary and I wanted to see her do it, so we went to church :)
I'm looking forward to a slow Monday :)

Wow, I cannot believe you did all that right after the baby was born. Plus you had him natural. You could have lived in the olden days and been just fine! I don't think I would have survived! He looks so adorable!
