Topsey Exotic Ranch-Safari

The girls and I drove out to Topsey, Tx today with my friend Vanessa and her kids to visit the drive thru safari. First we let the kids look at the caged animals and feed the goats
Ella really liked the goats
Lily liked them through the gate :) She went in at first but would get freaked out because they would swarm her and she would start hitting them

Ella getting swarmed

Mason feeding the goat
Zander and one of the babies
Not sure what they are looking at, but I have a lot of pictures of the back of these two heads :)
Happy kids before the camel attack! haha, It was so funny and really quite scary at the same time, the kids were screaming and crying because the camels whole head was in the car! I'm not sure how long we sat there screaming and laughing until we threw out some food and drove away, camel head still in car..finally he backed off! ha

Vanessa and I were smart, we left our windows up :)
This donkey followed like this for quite awhile

Feeding something

My friend now knows how much of a sissy girl I am, the zebra stuck its head in my window and I screamed and threw a ton of food at it so it would go away!

They are cool...from a distance!

You can see in the mirror that something was about to stick its head in, Lily was still scared after the camel tried to eat her :)

Llama!

We had a little bit of feed left so we walked back to the petting zoo for awhile
The kids loved this bird. Its name is Knock Knock and it says a few words and laugh. It was totally showing off for the kids and they thought it was SO funny

Night night Lily
We drove back into Copperas Cove and ate at burgerking playland
..Mmm chicken whopper!
Messy kid faces

And some more pictures of the safari just because...

These birds were really scary! You can't tell but it was running at us full speed!

That is so great. Stan and I went to a drive through safari one time on the way back from Oregon. It was awesome. The ostrich-looking picture reminds me of an animal just like it that was pecking, pecking at our window and slightly freaked me out.

At one point Vanessa and I were focused on something else and the kids started screaming and there was this huge ostrich pecking inside the car! It was pretty funny how fast she drove away, i'm surprised we didn't run anything over! And i'm sad I missed all the really good pictures because I was too busy freaking out, ha! Like of the camel!
