I'm not sure exactly what they were calling this event..we got a flyer on our door the other day that said free bounce house, food, and face painting, just bring some canned food...
so we were totally there! :)
The girls loved the bounce houses and the little games they played to win candy (Lily just stood there and looked cute and they gave her candy too)
Joe and I enjoyed free hot dogs (the good kind, like sausage) and nachos while the girls bounced
And of course, cotton candy!
We've been out of juice today, so the girls were super excited for capri suns and each drank 3! No wonder they were a little crazy tonight!
Lily was excited to get the cotton candy, but had no idea you were suppose to eat it..we tried to convince her to try it but she wouldnt, so I just stuck some in her mouth..she gagged and almost puked! Guess she is like her Momma and doesn't like cotton candy!
After the neighborhood thing we headed over to Oktober fest that was going on on post, there were tons of bounce houses, but there were also TONS of long lines..so the girls got their faces painted and did a craft and we were out of there! There was a concert starting at 8, darryl worley..but Joe and I aren't super country fans so we were pretty fine with taking the girls home so we didn't miss bed time. Tomorrow we are headed to Temple again to a fire truck day at the train park, and then possibly the pumpkin patch so we didn't want them super tired!

That is too funny about Lilly and the cotton candy. That's a story for the scrapbook.
