Pioneer Woman in SLC

My Mom really wanted me to go to Salt Lake to get a book signed by the Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond). So tonight we went for her. We waited in the line for about 30 min when a lady came around yelling if you didn't have your ticket for a place in line to get your book signed, then you could wait in like a standby line which could take 3 or 4 hours..at this point we didn't even have a book yet, so I decided i'd just take some pictures and order the book on Walmart.com which costs less than half the price they wanted at the book store! My Mom said if we couldn't get the book for some reason (I was like right Mom, like a lot of people know about the Pioneer Woman..HA little did I know!) to just get some pictures so thats what I got!

This is the little tiny bookstore..you can see the end of the line is starting to go out the door..that line wrapped all they way around the inside of the store..that was the buy your book line, not the get your book signed line, that was WAY longer

This is part of the get your book signed line, I think..it went clear around to the art gallery where something was going on..i'm not sure exactly..I think Ree was speaking? But they only let like 50 people in or something..it wasn't organized very well.
I don't think they were expecting soo many people
So as I was making my way down to the art gallery to take a few pictures for my Mom, Ree was walking down the sidewalk! So I followed her trying to get a picture, i'm sure she was blinded by my flash!
First attempt..back of the head.
But that lady in the background was SO excited
Second shot..much better
See, I think I blinded her!
Then these ladies were walking around with a camera and they wanted to take our picture...I figured it was the news or something, but then I looked again and recognized them from The Pioneer Womans blog..its her Mother in law and sister in law! She wanted to hold Lily, but Lily was a little unsure of them!
And here's a picture of Lily in her cute new sweater dress
(I tried to blur our the background mess, but it didn't really work)

I had just been looking at her last post on her blog all about their trip to Denver (I think) right before we left for the signing. Thats how I recognized them..and I didn't even recognize the sister in law..I was like, hey aren't you her Mother-in-law? and she said yeah, and this is her Sister in law! ha
