When my parents were here we ate lunch at the Mayan. Ella loves watching the divers and its nice to go to a sit down restaurant where Ella will be good!
Ella and Grandma Lyn
Ella and Grandma Lyn

Grandma Lyn bought Ella this fancy new dress when they were here
Joe took Ella on a riding/camping weekend (check his blog for pictures of that),so I got to spend the weekend with Lily! Its amazing all the things you can get done with just one baby! I organized my closet and the girls closets, (took 7 big bags to the di!) I did about 400 loads of laundry, okay more like 5 but still a lot (and put it ALL away, thats the worst part of laundry, probably why I took so many clothes to di! ha). But mostly I spent my time reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. Its the second book in a series, the first is the Hunger Games. Great book, now I just have to wait for the third book! I also went to a Relief Society get together in Midway at a cabin. We had really good food and I had fun getting to know some of the ladies in our ward better. One lady runs marathons so I had a good time chatting with her about running. Today when Joe and Ella got home we took a few more bags to the DI and found a single jogging stroller for $10! I wanted to go jogging with just Lily this weekend but didn't want to push the giant double jogger so this work great!
Such a happy baby!

She has gotten pretty quick at walking along the furniture. She usually goes from the couch to the train table, then sits and crawls under the train table where she gets stuck!
Ella is in and out of the house all day playing with "her guys" so I have to leave the door semi open for her. But if it gets left open enough for Lily to realize its open, she takes off!

Her poor little knees!! She needs to learn to walk fast, or have winter come so she can wear long pants!! ha
What are the books about? Is it fiction/non fiction, sci-fi? I'm always looking for good reads.
Okay so I tried to explain the book, and it wasn't working so here is the inside of the flap, ha!
The Hunger Games
Twenty-four are forced to enter. Only the winner survives.
In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Each year, the districts are forced by the Capitol to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the Hunger Games, a brutal and terrifying fight to the death – televised for all of Panem to see.
Survival is second nature for sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who struggles to feed her mother and younger sister by secretly hunting and gathering beyond the fences of District 12. When Katniss steps in to take the place of her sister in the Hunger Games, she knows it may be her death sentence. If she is to survive, she must weigh survival against humanity and life against love.
I just read them too, and they're FABULOUS!!! I highly recommend them. She has a unique writing style, which is very engaging (not many authors write in first person/present). It's a book that makes you think about society structure, love, friendship, loyalty, and humanity. GREAT read!
Oh yeah, and your kids are stinkin' cute!
