Movie for Grandma Lyn

If its something she really wants, she'll go after it faster. I think her crawl is pretty funny. When Ella crawled she just got up on her knees and went...Lily does this funny belly flop mixed with using her knees. She's pretty fast though and I hope she keeps that belly flop in there, it slows her down a bit!

Today was day two of our running. For some reason after I run, I sneeze a ton! my nose is still itchy and runny and its two hours later! Anyway, Lily has started moving around a lot faster today. I know I had more to blog about but my head is kinda foggy, I took Benadryl to try and dry up my nose and it makes me super sleepy...So I guess thats all!

New headband and Ella video

I found this shirt when I was in Oregon. It was a size 10 in little girls, but it matched a pair of overalls that Lily has. So I figured it wouldn't be too hard to make it fit Ella. I took in the sleeves and the sides and now its a short dress or a long shirt! I used the scrap fabric that I cut off the sides to make a matching hairband. I made one for Lily too, but she's napping

Rocky Mouth Trail

Today after Church we took the girls for a mini hike. Its a really short, rocky, uphill hike to a tiny weenie waterfall. It was nice and cool, and Ella had so much fun splashing around in the water.

Ella was so happy that she was climbing up herself, she got up over the big step,
turned around and said "I did it!" ha

I tossed a rock in the water near Ella to get her attention, well when the rock splashed, the water got on her face. She was pretty surprised and she tipped over backward and landed her hiney right in the water! I wasn't fast enough to get those pictures, but this was right after she got up!

Joe decided he needed to climb up the waterfall rocks. Then this little family came and the boy, probably 10ish, decided that would be cool too, so his dad was helping him. The little boy got up no problem and then the dad started up. He got up to where the water falls over the rock and started slipping, he landed on his hiney. He had this crazy panic look on his face, I think he knew he was going down! He fell all the way down on his butt! It doesnt look that far in the picture, but its really rocky and it looked like it hurt!

Wedding Fun

First some pictures of Lily. I decided to reorganize our "closet" room. Its basically Joes office, plus all our storage and junk we don't have anywhere else to put. I sold a few things on KSL and i'm kinda sad seeing a lot of the baby furniture go. I sold our round bassinet which was sad, but i'm happy for the money! ha its just stuff right? Anyway, in the process of cleaning I found this fun toy and Lily LOVES it! She grabs the microphone and shakes it like crazy.

Okay on to the wedding. Joes Grandpa got remarried today. They had a Hawaiian themed reception with yummy food and even better cake!

Bill and Luell were in town for another wedding and stopped by to say hey! It was great to see them! The Holmes family also dropped in.
