Day 1 and 2 of Spring Break

Joe is still in WLC so we dont have any big spring break plans. He does get Thursday and Friday off so we are all excited for that!
 Day 2 of spring break!
We spent most of the day playing at zoomerang with friends
Jack lasted 4 hours before he started getting tired and grumpy.
He took his blanket and layed down in this bounce house

 Day 1 of spring break!
Monday is usually my shopping day, and I did not prepare for spring break so we still had to go shopping, all of us :\  It actually went pretty good! Its always hard to shop with kids, even harder with 3, and then add on using coupons and its crazy!
A package from Grandma Lyn also came today. It had some fun singing toothbrushes for all the kids and Jack got some sunglasses. That boy loves his "eyes"
 Silly boy
 Thanks Grandma!

I had to buy myself a coupon holder to keep me organized..i'm now a crazy couponer :)
We go through a lot of yogurt so I was excited to find some good sales at the commissary, and even better, stack it with a coupon :)
Reg price $44, spent $21
$31 reg.  I paid $17. I'm still learning with couponing and I kind of messed up on this one. But I had all three kids with me so I was a little scattered. The shampoo should have been .48 each but I handed her the coupons in the wrong order, making one not work, so they were .97each. Still a good deal and next time i'll remember which order they go in! And the total is a little higher because we were out of bread and I didn't want to go to walmart (which we ended up doing anyway!)
(the blue thing in the back is a picture frame Ella wanted for her class picture)
Joe made everyone bunny easter baskets like he had as a kid

On the way home from church
after teaching 10 three year olds for 2 hours

This was another really good deal. Reg price for 1 of these eyeliners or mascaras is $7.49
Paid under $5 for all
These were $1.10 each.
I normally pay $5-$7 for my eyeshadow so this was a great deal!
Lily told me she is a fashion star!
I dont remeber how much this one was, but the sauce was only .25 each after coupon!
 Jacks friend Parker at playland

Watching monsters inc for the first time
 Being crazy outside

I dyed my hair, it was getting really gray in the front! I got the color for 2.99, with a coupon of course :) It looked brown on the box, I didn't even read the color name. When it was done it looked pretty red, it was called Egyptian Plum!

 Pretty Lily Lou!
I'm getting better at doing the twist thing my friend showed me!

It was so nice today!
It felt really good, but I am SO not ready for the high summer temps

I follow a couple couponing blogs and I was looking at pictures of all thier deals. I don't really understand the people that just stockpile random stuff because its cheap. I try to only buy things that we always use. We got a sunday paper to try and I really liked the coupons in there. Some are the same as what you can print, but they have some different ones. The stuff in this picture without coupons or sale prices would have been $67! Holy cow! I paid $28 and that is only because the cashier was dumb and would not let me use my reward points for some reason. I should have been able to use $5 making it $23. I was not very happy, but I still have the reward dollars so I can use them next time. The deoderant was only .50cents each and the shave gel was .89cents. I think i'll be going back for 6 more cans of the gel. Joe usually pays about $3 a can!
I'm pretty excited to dye my hair tomorrow, the color is called Egyptian Plum.
I hope it doesnt turn purple!
Jack was so sad this morning. He did not understand why we let Ella get on the bus and drive away
 LOL!
He is going to be pretty happy next week when the girls are off for spring break

Friday night popcorn and a movie!
 Home depot workshop this morning

I'm not sure who likes the tv in the car better, the kids or me and Joe! :)
I tried to do Lilys hair in this cool twist thing my friend showed me..I need some more practice or a kid that will hold still :\
Joe got promoted to Sgt on Friday. He called me at 4:15 and asked if I could hurry to his work. I had to wake up Jack and hurry the kids in the car. We got there and waited around in the FREEZING wind until around 6 when they finally started the "ceremony" which lasted 5 min.
Not the most flattering angle! Anyway, the pinning (er velcroing process) is taking off the hat, throwing the hat, putting the hat with the new rank back on. Then you throw off the rank on the chest and punch the new one on. My hands were so numb it would have hurt really bad to punch anything! I just put it on and they kept saying punch him, one guy said punch him in the face, LOL.

We kept the kids busy by letting them run up and down the parking lot. There was a sign on one of the doors that had one of the units mascot/picture/something..a creepy picture of a skull. I told Lily she better be careful because that is where they keep the zombies. LOL. We had fun teasing her about the zombies..she looked a little concerned but kept going right back up to the door. She got a little more nervous when the door opened and some guys came out! ha we are such awesome parents :)
This picture looks really awkward because it was. I was trying to stand off to the side because I REALLY dont like being in front of groups of people. The guy taking pictures was like, hey I need you to go back over there to take a picture..so I just moved over a little and smiled..with everyone staring at us! LOL I wish we would have gotten a better picture (not in front of everyone!) but it was SO cold and the kids were tired and hungry (it was now after 6:30)
This was from Friday. The babies crashed after storytime and a really long trip to playland

Lily was really excited when I picked her up from school today. She said she was learning about fairy tales and that she made up some of her own.
This is Rapunzel and her mom
And this is the fat princess, LOL
Jack and I spent the morning cleaning. It had been awhile since I vacuumed and mopped the girls room(it had been awhile since I could see the floor, LOL)  The girls have a tv in their room that can only watch vhs movies (somehow its connected to the vhs player in my room) anyway I put on Aladdin for Jack while I cleaned. He mostly enjoyed turning the tv off and on.
We cleaned the rest of the floors since we had the stuff out already.
Then we sat on the couch for awhile (I read Beautiful Creatures book 2, I dont remember the name and Jack watched Cars) until I got a text to go hang out with Vanessa for a little while. So we got dressed and went and had a diet coke. When we came home Jack napped and I read some more.
Ella with Jacks new car ramp. I've been looking for a car tower thing for him.
This is not that great but they like it okay.
Joe is suppose to get promoted to Sgt on friday and I have to pin him so I went and got something new to wear. I got this sequin shirt and teal sweater (it kind of looks green here). I justified buying the sweater because it's one of the colors of my brother in laws wedding so i'll be able to wear it for that..unless I find something I like better before then ;)
Jack with his chuck tower, he HAD to hold it the whole time in the cart..its bigger then him! ha
Lily on the way to school

I found these at Kohls, I thought they were hilarious! They are adult shoes! REally?
I love Kohls clearance! I got this cute ring for under $3
 Ellas school pic
My couponing candy stash...perfect for someone trying to lose weight, haha!
Joe has been working late every night. He is in WLC, some training you have to have to be Sgt. Anyway he works really late so I took the kids and we went to Chickfila kid night with some friends. Anything to make the day go faster!

This is what happens when you dont put laundry away for a week..or maybe longer :)
